Ciudad Juárez celebrates four days without murders

Last year, Ciudad Juarez was the most dangerous city in the world. But the first days of July have passed with no homicides in Juarez, according to El Diario.  The local newspaper also highlighted that there were 10 days in June with no murders while January 25th was the first day in the last five years without murders.

June was the month with the lower homicide rate since 2006, when Mexican President Felipe Calderón started a fight against organized crime.
